spring coming!!

My shoes!!
It was killing me today. It was candie’s pump, really cute and perfectly went with my out fit. But, it was rubbing my sensitive skin and my feet were almost bleed( red). It hurt me every time I took a step and I didn’t even feel fashionable.(lolz)
Spring has been arrived and It is already warm and pleasant weather out there.  So, everybody starts wearing shorties and the school office starts keep reminding us about the DRESS CODE policy, again. Since I’m not a fan of skirts, I keep wearing my favorite jean pants but starts changing the length of my pants ( long to a little bit shorter to your knee).Short pants with cute tee or tops can be really sexy. Throw all your sneakers & boots, and put on some sandal, flip flop, and pump or cute flat shoes. Oopps..Too much about fashion? huh?(Sorry, that is what girls are :D)
I’m not very happy about the pop quiz that Ms.L gave us this morning. What a surprise and panic! Ms. L is giving us a new 6wk- project about probability. I and the dude are going to make the flip book. Here is the plan.. we gonna take pictures of our classmates and cut the pics into 3 pieces (head, body, legs :hehe), then we gonna make the flip book and match them. It is going to be really funny!! ( it will be like .. a boy’s head with a girl’s body, lolz). And, we’ll have to write the report about how many possible ways that we can use to match:what is advatage of this, what can it help the future, etc.. The main thing is about the Probability. I can’t wait to see those funny pics!
The Bio class smells stink today. Dead sharks has arrived for dissection. I keep thinking about what might the operation was like long time ago. Mr. V said  about this in really funny way: "
"You got a promblem, and they (doctors) thought it was in your stomach (they did operation based on their guess years, years ago). So, they made you lie down, and started cutting your stomach and opened it (btw, remember that they didn’t have pain relief medicines or anything else ) . Then, they found out..the problem wasn’t your stomach. So, they said "Ooops..sorry,wrong guess!". And by that time, you were probably dying."
We laughed loudly.  By the way, the award for "A" students for last week test was a piece of  pink string . Great!, huh?
Well, I’m skipping the last two periods tomorrow since I’m going to the school play. (Yeah!..no class :D)

school and safety

Posted by justmylittleworld in school

We had "Code Red " during 5 period at school, today. It meant that there was a dangerous situation (seriously)and you were supposed locked all your doors. Ok, it was not real. It was just a drill. One funny thing was I heard it(the announcement) wrong and I heard it "real" instead of "drill". I felt apprehensive ,even though I knew that It wasn’t real.  We had to turn off all light, locked all doors, and sat on the floor in the back of the class room. We were supposed to lie on the floor if it was real, so the shooters couldn’t shoot and hurt us. If you were wondering in the hall during this situation, then you were probably locked out. No one, even your best buddy won’t open the door for you or others won’t let him open for you . The reason was you could be a hostage pointed a gun at your head and threaten by the shooter and made you to ask to open the door. You know what I meant?
I’m glad that it wasn’t the real one. I hate to face that kind of horror. But, you never know when will happen. There was a situation when the teenage boy just came up to the bus driver, then shot and killed her last year in this state. That was awful. Well, you never know what a person got in his/her mind. (mentally)
Fortunately, It has never happen at my school, and I hope it won’t never happen.

A visit to Germany(2)

April 5th, 2006

My mind was fresh and clear when I woke up this morning. Probably, it was the result of a good sleep that I had last night. I went to eat breakfast at Restaurant 44. I went for croissant with topping strawberry jam and a hot chocolate. I also had very sweet and delicious grape fruits for the breakfast.
I decided to explore around Berlin-Tiergarten but I still haven’t any plan on my mind yet. Fortunately, I met a German friend who was about same age as me while I was lining for the ticket at a museum. Her name was Selke (pronounced as Zelka) Tombraegel. She was a student from middle part of Germany and visiting Berlin on her weekends. To my surprise, she speaks English perfectly! She was interested in America and also planed to visit one day. She advised me to buy museums passIRS and also helped me to get ticket because I had a problem with the language and didn’t know where to get it! Selke and I had lunch together at First Floor Restaurant and had a long conversation. She was really sweet and friendly unlike other Europeans. 150_museumspass

(this is what the museum pass looks like: it costs only 15,00 euro)

Hamburgerbahnhof_oAfter Lunch, I went to Hamburger Bahnhof Museum beautiful paintings, sculptures, graphics, photography, video, multimedia works, . It has collections of rooms, and light installations of the collections of the National Gallery and private Berlin collection. The building consists of a traditionally high, historical hall resembling a railway hall and modern extensions with clear geometrical lines and glass roofs. It was awesome!! I felt that I won’t able to finish studying the whole museum even in a week.

I also went to see Reichstage because it was the  Parliament and Mirror of German History. The glass dome was beautiful and I was amazed the work of architecture. It was so much fun to be at the dome and you could view the city form there! The Reichstage is the seat of the German Bundestage pr federal government and, with its new dome. It is one of the Berlin crowd-draw in Berlin.

Then, I went to New National Gallery( Neu Nationalgalerie). It is the home of 2Oth  century European paintings and sculpture ranging from classic modern art to art of the 1960. A great place of who loves paintings. They were gorgeous. I felt amusement among those beautiful art works and paintings.

When it came to twilight, I was so hungry! I ate my dinner at Ottenthal. I ate Breast of Wild Duck with Trentino apritcots, puree of celery & Xocopili sauce. It was so d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s!!

A vist to Germany (1)

Posted by justmylittleworld in tRaVelliNg(s)

This is an imaginary journal that I wrote about visiting Germany. I did research and very careful about my informations on every single detail about my vacation to Germany .(the air ticket cost+hotel+train+ museums tickets +restaurants, they all are real !!!!). It was not EASY!I spent there about one week in Germany and visited a couple of coolest place and some museums. Even though, It was not a real tour but I put effort and created it as it was true. I hope you enjoy it! :-)

                                                                                                  April 4th, 2006
I flew to Berlin,Germany on April 3rd from "….." Airport at 10:15am. I was pretty excited about my vacation, and I had a lot of things prepared for my vacation. For example, I bought a ticket and booked a hotel. It cost me $2,701 for the fight and the hotel. I also had to change some US dollars to Euro because they used euro money over there. (1 euro=$1.2)
My flight arrived about 8:30 in the morning, and I went to Swissotel Berlin Hotel where I was going to stay . The hotel was fantastic. It was a very nice place: huge, luxurious, highly recommended, friendly and provided a good service. Restaurant 44 at the hotel could make you forget your own name. It had one of the most excellent cook in Berlin!

After finishing lunch, I decided to take a walk around Berlin-Mitte to see the city’s sights. My first choice was the Brandenburger Tor(Brandenburg Gate) because of its fame in Berlin. It is also called Symbol of a City. Brandenburg Gate was built in 1791. This Berlin monument once marked that boundary between East and West Berlin. The Gate was reopened on Dec 22, 1989. It is a symbol of the fall of communism.  That is  why everyone wants to see it and it is very crowded over there. It is also beautiful.

My eyes became so busy as soon as I got to Gendarmenmark. Gendarmenmark was one of the most beautiful squares in Europe. It creates a beautiful architectural ensemble by combining the styles of a German Cathedral, a French Cathedral, and the Konzerthaus. It is Gorgeous!!

Bebelplatz_02

Bebelplatz was also one of the most noteworthy tourist attractions in Berlin_Mitt. It is surrounded by the important buildings like the Opernplatz ( opera house), Hedwig’s Cathedral, Kommode(library is known as "chest of drawers"),and  Humboldt University . It is attached to the Alte Palais(old Palace). On May 10, 1933, the square was the focal point for "the burning of the book" staged by the Nazis. .Countless numbers of books were thrown into the flames. This event was commemorated in 1995 by the monument consisting of an underground library with empty shelves which can be seen through a transparent plastic window set into the ground.
I enjoyed Berlin on my very first day because it has very, very beautiful buildings and scenic areas. The most wonderful thing was each place has its own history which is a very useful and interesting source for a person who is studying the German history of WW II.
I got back to my hotel about 6:30 in the evening. I ate my dinner as soon as I could and went to bed.

one more day to the weekend

Posted by justmylittleworld in school

Not fair.
I wasn’t feeling well for a couple of days..and I got tests in most of my classes. Life can be suck! Day after day, trying to make up tests that I missed and having pop quizz everyday!
I hate the chapter that we are studying in both math classes..Space Figures and Drawings, isometric drawing, orthographic drawings, foundation drawings, probability distributions, statistics… they drive me crazy! I hate any kind of graphic or 3D . I can tolerate them but I barely like them . They are not just my type!
Projects are coming soon..We shouldn’t call them as 6-wks project since they give us 2 wks- before the end of 6-wk. Let’s call them as 2-wks projects!
Our actress "V" (she’s drama person, i tease her as "my actress") is also busy with her play & acting & memorizing her lines. L is working really hard at gym.
Today is Thursday… can’t wait for Friday..

Naruto Characters’ Quotes..

Posted by justmylittleworld in doodle log

I admitted that I’m fan of Naruto Series.
what is Naruto?
It is a real cool Japanese anime based a story on an orphan boy who has high goals in his life. His dream is to become the Hokage, so people will respect. These new Gennin (lower level of ninjas) are trained and given assignments to become more powerful and skilled ninja. They have to face many obstacles and adversity , but their goal is clear..to be a the top ninja in their village.

what I like about Naruto?

One thing I like about Naruto is …"He is just like us..very simple.(not brilliant, or handsome or popular)". Even though, people call him "a loser" , he never know when to give up and he always succeed, at last.
I like each character of this series. Their struggle, their life, their dreams are the main thing that makes the story interesting.

These are some quotes from the series:

"In order to live, you need a purpose. For exist for no reason is the same as being dead."
                                      -Gara

When you do make a mistake,
you have the guts to pick up yourself up and keep trying.
I think that courage to keep going..
no matter what is the real courage.
                                   -  Hinata Hyuuga

I think you forget..I never know when to give up!!
                                   -Naruto Uzumaki

Your fate is something you create with your own hand.

Love does not just mean saying "I love You" to someone.
Love is even without saying anything.

I do think that  A woman without a beauty is powerless.
And, A woman without brain is useless.
But, the worst of all is A woman without a good heart!
