no “gift” please..

" A false cognate is a German word that looks like an English word but means something quite different. For example, if you would like to send a gift to someone in Germany, don’t mark your package with the word"gift". The word Gift in German means poison.

Learning a language is quite interesting, but not easy that much. I have been busy these days trying to learn how to count 1 to 100 in German. I thought I was ready until the day came when we were asked to do Jumping Jack while counting in German. It was hard. I couldn’t keep together counting and jumping at the same time. LOL

Skool_005_1  This is how i carried all my books when I didn’t had a locker yet. I also had a heavy backpack on my back where I put all my files/folders and piles of papers for my classes plus all the materials. And, I wore those pumps to my north pole and south pole classes which hurt my feet later during nights. LOL

Last week Pep-rally was ROCK! Juniors won the competition and Senior lost for the first time for the last two year. I heard some freshmen had little fight going on during pep-rally but it wasn’t bad enough to call SRO (the upper classes didn’t even notice). Everybody was loud and excited which made students became hot blooded  because drum beats, the cheering voices and limelights.

Sunday is a big Homework day for me. I am trying to finish all the homeworks these unmerciful (some) teachers gave us. LOL
